Yaktrax UltraGrip is a lightweight, low-profile traction device designed for snow and ice. It features ten carbide steel spikes that bite into frozen surfaces, paired with a siped tread pattern—covering 27% of the contact area—to enhance grip by channeling moisture and improving ground contact. Its 3D-molded harness adapts to a wide range of footwear, while the adjustable hook-and-loop strap ensures a secure, customized fit. Reinforced pull tabs and strap mounts increase durability in high-stress areas, and molded-in spikes offer long-term performance underfoot. The base is designed to stay low to the ground, helping preserve natural movement and improve transitions between firm surfaces and snow-covered terrain. Soft underfoot traction treads help distribute pressure, improving comfort during longer wear. Made from thermoplastic elastomer, the harness remains flexible and secure in extremely cold temperatures (down to -40°C). The oversized toe cap enhances fit and helps reduce snow spray from entering the toe area, providing a more protected winter experience.
