Essential gear

I've had my Spikes for maybe 6 years. Where I live I don't need to use them often, but when we have snow or ice, they are impossible to do without! I've had no breakage, lost spikes, or problems with them.

Needs a Better Strap

Bought these to keep my legs stable as I recover from a knee injury. 3rd time I used them one of the Velcro straps blew and the Trax came off my boot unbeknownst to me right away. It was lost in the deep snow in the sheep pen. We had a melt a few days later and found the Tax. That's how I knew the strap broke. The sewing came undone at the buckle. Buckle gone. Might find it in spring. Now on the hunt for a strap. Good news is the Trax work so well. When it was attached I could get around the icy areas on our place very easily and without worry of twisting my knee. I also like they fit my different boots I use. I have an XL for a 9.5-10 Women's shoe/boot.{Muck's}

Wasn’t sure what to expect

We weren’t sure if these would even make a difference. We took them out on a packed trail that was pretty slippery, with ice crust. Trail mostly flat but had a few slippery steep spots. These were a game changer. Others were slipping and we had no trouble. We could have sold these on the trail. I wear a size 6.5 to 7 women’s and the small medium was great. Husband has size 11 and the XL was stretched to the max to get on his boot.

The traction really helps when walking 110 lb dog

Love these. Would not walk on all the snow and ice we get without them. Only con is that they used to sell Small, Medium, etc. Now their smallest size is a Small/Medium. Not sure if that is why, but my left Yaktrax has a tendency to come off every few days. Doesn't take much to put it back on, but I have to notice it happened first.
