The Yaktrax Summit traction cleats are a heavy-duty traction device that is essential for any winter hike or backcountry excursion where the use of a full-on technical mountaineering crampon is not quite needed. Its 3/8th inch triangular Carbon Steel Spikes bite into packed snow and ice, providing superior grip on sloped surfaces. Weighing in at around 17 ounces/ pair, they are lightweight and fold up to easily stow in any pocket or backpack. Segmented sole plates flex and bend with each step to shed prevent snow build-up and ensure a more natural stride. Featuring the patented Boa Closure System, the Summit offers superior customized fit that is both comfortable and secure.

Work Great, But.......

I have owned two pairs. The first pair lasted a couple of months and the second pair one season. The rubber breaks off at the fasteners. Shame, because they are comfortable, easy to put on, and work great.

bought the walk yaktrax, while back for my bugout bag, used them first time during the big freeze and snow in arkansas, had them on ,with no issues , didn't realize how good they worked till i ventured out in boots without, i slipped and slid all over, put them back on worked great, easy to put on and traction was 10 fold,liked them so much ill recommend these to everybody, thinking of upgrading , not because of unsatisfied but im a prepper, expect the worst hope for the best, thats it,thank you for an affordable product that works great

This is my second pair great traction and ez to use. A little disappointed the rubber dry rotted on my first pair but still happy over all
