Run Traction Device

I am surprised that the other reviews have been mixed because mine are now in their 4th winter and I've only just recently "lost" my first spike on them. I think that's pretty amazing. Admittedly I don't run in them, but they get used multiple times a week for dirt road/trail walks and for clearing snow/ice from the driveway during the winter months in Maine. They do run at the low end of the sizing range, so my size S is perfect for women's size 6.5-7 shoe. My husband has had his pair for 3 winters and he had to get XL to comfortably fit men's 11.5-12 boots. We both bought ours via the Yaktrax store on Amazon.

Not sure what these other reviewers are doing wrong to break their product... I’ve probably put at least 200 miles on my yaktrax in the last 3 or 4 years and have had no issues. If you’re mindful of how you put the product on your shoe and don’t put a lot of stress on the rubber to get it situated on the sole it should last for a long time.

Really appreciate that this product means that I never have to do my runs on the dreaded treadmill when we get our annual 4-6 weeks of snow and ice in the Midwest!

I used these all of last winter running and just got them back out to use this winter. Held up great. No issues. Used them multiplies times each week.

I bought these for the freeze this year and so far I’ve put 12 miles of running on them and they’ve been great. I can almost run normally with them on while I’m on ice.

I'm doing my review on ordering and delivery since it has not snowed enough yet in Ohio to give them a real trial.
Ordering was very easy, and was very pleased with how quickly they arrived!
I probably should have ordered the next size larger though. I wear a size 9 shoe, but I did not take into account the width of the sole of the shoes, so they seem a bit snug when I tried them on. Have adjusted the straps, and will give them a try before deciding.
